Griggs - Benchwarmer!

This dog is one of the many wonderful animals available for adoption at WHS. Despite their great looks and lovable personality, they have not found a new home yet and have become a benchwarmer. To get them back in the game and into a home, we have reduced their adoption fee. We know they will make a great addition to someone's family – come meet them today!

Griggs is beloved by everyone in the shelter who has met him. Volunteers and staff alike agree that this happy guy is an absolutely amazing dog. If you come visit him in the shelter you may see him barking at his window, but that's just because you're on the wrong side of the glass instead of giving him pets! Griggs has been described as a "gentleman," "cuddle-bug," and "gentle giant." On walks he has a lovely little trot and doesn't seem to acknowledge other dogs. In addition to walks and scratches, this boy LOVES squeaky toys, and it is so much fun to play with him. Although he's lovely with adults, Griggs has a history of being a little too much for young children; therefore, he would do best in a home with older children or just adults. Warning: adoption of Griggs may result in immense levels of joy and an increase in laughter in your life. Come visit the shelter during adoption hours to meet this lovely boy in person!
