Project CARE

Project CARE (Compassion and Respect Education) is a school year program that invites underserved Milwaukee youth ages 8-14 to participate in humane education activities at the Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Campus.

School social workers and community organizations serving inner-city Milwaukee neighborhoods are eligible to participate.  Activities focus on responsible animal guardianship, dog training, cat socializing, urban wildlife and ways we can help animals in our community.

For more information about the program or how to participate, please contact the Education Department at 414-431-6159.

Hope's Lights 2014

Each year we illuminate the shelter and grounds at the Wisconsin Humane Society with holiday lights in honor and in memory of special people and animals in our lives. Please help us kick off the season of giving with a gift to Hope’s Lights. Every $25 light makes a real difference in the life of an animal.
