This page is dedicated to WHS dogs who need extra help finding new homes.
These special needs dogs might need a little extra medical care, modified training, or a particular type of lifestyle in their new homes, but we know that these deserving canines - the neediest dogs at our shelter - will find their way into someone's heart. They certainly have stolen ours!
Update: Fleetwood found a loving home! Check back soon for more extraordinary dogs searching for extraordinary people.

-Meet Fleetwood-
Fleetwood is an incredibly sweet puppy who is completely deaf and has limited peripheral vision, meaning he has trouble seeing things that aren't directly in front of him. Timid at first, this gentle boy is curious, playful, and very loving! He enjoys chasing his rope toy and is an expert at sniffing out treats. Like all of our dogs, he has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so all he needs now is you!
If you're interested in adopting Fleetwood, stop by our Milwaukee Campus to meet him and chat with one of our adoption counselors today!

-His Ideal Home-
Fleetwood is looking for a patient family who is committed to enriching his life through training, love, and companionship. Though not required, Fleetwood could potentially benefit a great deal from living with and learning from a stable resident dog. |
