2009 Calendar Sponsorship Opportunities

The Wisconsin and Ozaukee Humane Societies are currently in the process of planning our 2009 Calendar. WHS has produced and sold five other calendars and all have been big successes. We anticipate that the 2009 calendar will be even more popular!

The full-color, twelve month calendar will feature the furry friends of community members. Each calendar month will feature an animal picture determined by our panel of celebrity judges. In addition, the color logo and contact information of a sponsor will be featured alongside the winning photo for each month. The calendar will be sold at Animal Antics, WHS’ own retail store, as well as in various Milwaukee bookstores, pet supply stores, veterinary clinics and retail outlets. The calendar will be promoted through various media outlets, including WITI Fox 6 Pet of the Day segments, radio broadcasts and print media.

Proceeds of the calendar will directly benefit the animals being cared for by the Wisconsin and Ozaukee Humane Societies. The donations will assist WHS in our mission to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness. Our goal is to save lives. Last year, the Wisconsin Humane Society adopted more than 9,000 animals into loving homes in the community. With your help, this year we can help even more animals!

• Prominent logo exposure on the Wisconsin Humane Society’s 2009 Calendar (estimated circulation 2,000). The calendar will be in the homes of thousands and will be seen by these families on a regular basis throughout the year.
• Placement of your full-color company logo and contact information on one of the calendar month’s layouts. You may request placement on a month of your choice; requests will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis and your request will be secure upon receipt of your sponsorship.
• Inclusion on the Wisconsin Humane Society’s website as a calendar sponsor from August to December 2008 (approximate dates). Your sponsorship will be listed on the website upon receipt of your payment. WHS’ website is visited by an average of 150,000 visitors monthly.
• Mention of your support in the electronic newsletter, The Howler (circulation to 25,000 email addresses)
• Two complimentary calendars; calendars are regularly priced at $11.95. Qualification for a quantity discount: 10 or more calendars at a rate of $8.95/calendar or 20 or more calendars at the rate of $7.95/calendar. Calendars would make great employee holidays gifts!
• Press release with mention of your company as a supporter of the 2009 Calendar.
