KINDNESS IN THE CLASSROOM: Cross-Curricular Humane Education

Humane education does more than simply teach young people how to care for animals, it incorporates all of the values that are stressed in character education such as respect, responsibility and citizenship. Educators will learn and practice multidisciplinary and standards-based activities that incorporate humane and character education into any classroom.

The class will meet at the Wisconsin Humane Society on two Wednesdays: February 20 and March 5, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
