Calling All Students…
HELP US CELEBRATE 130 YEARS of SAVING LIVES!
The Wisconsin Humane Society has found loving homes for hundreds of thousands of animals since 1879, and we need your help to keep the tradition going.
Collect 130 Wish List items between now and the end of the year, and you will receive a WHS T-shirt and have your picture taken with an adoptable animal! Your picture will be featured on our web site so you can share your commitment to helping animals with family and friends. Items like dog toys, cat litter, peanut butter and even pens and copy paper are needed to help care for the thousands of animals we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome every year. The promotion is open to all students from K5 through high school. For a complete list of items, check out our Wish List and start collecting!
Please note: You must schedule a time to drop off your items at the Wisconsin Humane Society by December 31, 2009. Please contact Laura at 414-431-6153 or Dezarae at 414-431-6159 or email education@wihumane.org for more information.
If you're a kid and
you love animals, then you've found the right spot!
The Wisconsin Humane Society has a variety of purr-fect
ways for kids to get involved with helping
animals!
You might consider
joining our kid's club, the Gosling
Guild! If you're in a Scout troop, encourage
your leader to become involved in one of our Scout
Nights! You might even consider volunteering
along with an adult family member!
If you've got a birthday
coming up and would like to celebrate in the company
of a few furry critters, click
here to find out how you can have your birthday
party at the Wisconsin Humane Society!
At WHS, kids play an
important role in making our community a kinder,
safer place. We look forward to your involvement!
