Wisconsin Humane Society Welcomes
Community Relations Specialist

MILWAUKEE ?The Wisconsin Humane Society, a community-based organization whose mission is to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect or kindness, recently welcomed Michelle Pintar as its community relations specialist. Pintar's responsibilities include implementing public and media relations activities as well as special events and community outreach initiatives.

"We're excited to add Michelle to our community relations team," said Victoria Wellens, executive director of WHS. "Through her community initiatives, WHS will continue to be positioned as an animal welfare leader that works tirelessly to end cruelty and neglect, rescue and rehabilitate wild and companion animals and help to strengthen the bond between animals and people."

Prior to joining WHS, Pintar served as a public relations/marketing coordinator for nearly five years at a Brookfield, Wis. marketing communications firm. She was also employed at a Fortune 500 Milwaukee-based financial services organization for more than five years.
