MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY

?Camping? with the Critters

MILWAUKEE ? While you're camping in the great outdoors, you hope to never encounter a grizzly bear or other big critter. However, the Wisconsin Humane Society encourages ?camping? with the critters ? companion animal critters, that is.

Camp Critter is a one-day summer camp for children ages 8 to 11 featuring a variety of animal-related activities including learning about dog training, cat socialization and wildlife tips. Seventeen camp enrollees will also participate in crafts, games and a shelter tour at the Wisconsin Humane Society.
