Holiday Surprises for Your Furry Family Members

MILWAUKEE – Take the guess work out of giving for four-legged family members this season with gifts that already passed the sniff test.

> The way to your animal's heart is through his tummy.   Healthful treats are a must and showering your canine, feline or small animal with treats that are all natural and contain no preservatives or by-products is easy.  Our furry testers at the Wisconsin Humane Society will be happy to point you in the right direction when selecting the right kibbles and cookies.

> Holiday toys:   Santa might need some help pulling his sleigh and your companion animal will be ready with these antlers.  If antlers aren't your critter's style, a Bungee Santa will do the trick.  This character is made with a soft, traditional plush material in holiday colors and squeaks and rattles.  Or, small paw stockings are great for decorating, but even better when they're filled with dog or cat treats.

> Is that the cat caroling?   There's the sound of jingle bells in the air…could it be your critter?  Consider purchasing a new safe-cat collar with a bell, jingle balls or a glitter ball for your favorite feline or a holiday bell collar for your canine that will surely have you hearing your animal come a mile away.

> Who needs minced meat pie?   When you give your dog kisses, you'll discover the aroma of sweet potatoes.  These chews along with liver and other meat chews are popular treats that will have your pooch waggin' for more.

All of these products and much more are available at Animal Antics, the retail store for creature comforts located in the Wisconsin Humane Society.  For more information, call (414) 431-6221.
