Hop into Spring with Rabbits at WHS!

MILWAUKEE – Move over Bugs Bunny and Peter Cottontail – the Wisconsin Humane Society is Hopping into Spring with its very own adorable rabbits! During the Hop into Spring celebration, to be held April 1-9, 2006 at the Wisconsin Humane Society, the rabbits “hop” you will join in the festivities, which will include:

• a rabbit behavior seminar about rabbit care, behavior and training on Saturday, April 1 from 1-3 p.m.;
• face painting available for children April 1-2 from 12-2 p.m.;
• a children’s coloring contest on April 1-2 and April 8-9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (judging will occur April 11);
• rabbit socializing on April 8-9; and
• the opportunity to adopt a lifelong rabbit companion animal. Everyone who adopts a rabbit during Hop into Spring will be entered into a raffle where the winner will receive a 10% discount off rabbit food from Animal Antics for one year as well as a 20% discount off a Wabbitat cage for rabbits.

ADOPTION HOURS: Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
