Pup is
Nothing Short of Magic
MILWAUKEE
– Wiring a dog's mouth closed to stop him
from barking is unthinkable. Even worse, the dog
languished in the backyard and was only off his
leash long enough to be kicked and belittled.
Kindness was just out
of reach for this little pup; until one brave neighbor
was willing to step up and insist that she take
the sweet dog. After seeing the wire and how the
guardian kicked Magic, she was able to convince
the guardian to give the dog to her. The neighbor
removed the wire around Magic's sore mouth and brought
her to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
The pup was skittish
and uncomfortable at first, but during her stay
at WHS she received plenty of tender loving care.
Although only time will fade the scar across her
muzzle, Magic is slowly learning how to trust people.
Magical transformations
occur every day at the Wisconsin Humane Society
where dogs like Magic receive extra special attention.
She is now ready to be adopted by a loving person
who understands that she may need some time to adjust
to new things because her world was so small and
so cruel.
