Where
in the World is Peek-a-Boo Pete?
MILWAUKEE
– The Wisconsin Humane Society staff is
searching for a missing animal, and they need your
help. “Peek-a-Boo Pete” – simply known as Pete –
loves playing Peek-a-Boo, but no one can ever seem
to keep up with him. The only hot lead is that this
mischievous hamster can be found somewhere on the
Wisconsin Humane Society's newly redesigned Web
site, located at www.wihumane.org.
Anyone who finds Pete online during the month of
August will win a prize.
In
addition to Pete, WHS' redesigned Web site features
other adorable companion animal photos. In fact,
every time an animal is adopted, a new animal is
featured online! Because of this unique feature,
it is recommended that potential adopters log online
multiple times daily to see which cuddly animals
are waiting for a home.
Visitors to www.wihumane.org
will also find news about the latest animal
issues. WHS is recognized as a statewide resource
and “go-to” organization about animal issues, advocacy
for animals and more.
Those interested
in making a monetary or time donation, or would
like to learn about employment opportunities, online
forms/applications are available. The site also
features wildlife animal tips, volunteer and donor
news as well as an updated “Ask the Expert” section
including information from our behavior experts
about topics ranging from puppy mouthing to separation
anxiety. In addition, there is even an online shopping
option featuring Animal Antics' latest and greatest
animal merchandise keeping the animal's best interest
at heart.
To check out the Wisconsin
Humane Society's new Web site, or for more information
about the organization, log online at www.wihumane.org.
