CALENDAR OF EVENTS LISTING

It’s a Wild Baby Shower and You’re Invited!

Milwaukee, WI – Due to the high numbers of wild animal flood victims orphaned during the storms, this year’s Wildlife Baby Shower at the Wisconsin Humane Society is especially important! The shower is an annual event to help raise funds and collect supplies for all the animals in rehabilitation. Come watch baby animals being fed in the nursery and grab some baked goodies for yourself, too!

WHAT: Baby shower for orphaned baby wild animals – cottontails, raccoons, gray squirrels, opossums, mallard ducklings and other types of baby birds – being cared for at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Gifts are encouraged.

WHERE: Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53208

WHEN: Friday, July 11: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. AND Saturday, July 12: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No RSVP is required.

NOTES: Like the rest of the Wisconsin Humane Society, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is funded entirely through donations. Last year, the Center treated over 5,000 wild animals; 60% of them were orphaned babies.
