Memorial Service for Wisconsin Humane Society Leader Tonight

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Humane Society invites you to remember former executive director, Victoria Wellens, who passed away Saturday, March 28. Please join us for a memorial service to honor Victoria's work in the national animal welfare field, as well as her significant impact in Milwaukee as executive director of the Wisconsin Humane Society for 15 years. Several hundred people are expected to attend.

What: Victoria Wellens Memorial Service
Where: Pfister Hotel, 7th floor ballroom, 424 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee
When: 5:00 p.m. doors open; 6:00 p.m. program
Who: Speakers include: Tony Enea, Board President, Wisconsin Humane Society; Susana Della Maddalena, Vice President & Executive Director, PetSmart Charities; Dr. Mark Goldstein, President, San Diego Humane Society & SPCA; Sharon M. Harmon, Executive Director, Oregon Humane Society; and Jill DeGrave, Director of Education, Wisconsin Humane Society.
