MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
It’s a Rat Race. Really!
WHS to Celebrate Storming of the Bastille With
Rat & Small Animal Race
MILWAUKEE – What better way to celebrate the Storming of the Bastille? Come out to WHS and cheer on your favorite Frenchman on Thursday, July 8 at 12:00 Noon. The Wisconsin Humane Society is hosting a rodent race and you are invited to watch the revolutionary rats race to the finish!
Who will win? Will it be August Rodent, Gérbil Depardieu, Jean-Jacques Ratsseau or Claude Mousnet?
While they’ll never likely make it to Paris, they certainly can celebrate with the Eiffel Tower beckoning them to the finish line. Cheer for your favorite and celebrate the kickoff to a Storm the Bastille promotion, in which all small animal adopters receive a FREE adoption if they purchase a small animal kit this month.
