Burn victim recovers at WHS

Humphrey was removed from vacant house in terrible shape. He had deep red burns all over his body. We don’t know what happened to Humphrey – whether it was intentional or an accident – but the huge raw wounds had to have been excruciating to endure.

The poor boy was transferred from MADACC to the Wisconsin Humane Society, where he continues to receive treatment for burns all over his body. Upon intake, our staff marveled at how happy he was to get the attention, and what a perfect patient he was. Humphrey has stolen our hearts and is making slow but steady progress.

Will you consider making a donation to help Humphrey on his road to recovery? We don’t receive government funding for this work, and he is just one of more than 2,000 animals we treat every year for special needs.  Your support saves so many animals, and you can save Humphrey, too.

Please consider a gift today. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every dollar makes a difference.

On behalf of Humphrey, thank you. We’re so grateful to be a part of a community that steps up to support animals in need.
