Update: We reached our goal of 500 adoptions on Saturday, September 22! We are so incredibly grateful to Stan for his generosity, and to everyone who adopted, donated, or helped us spread the word! Check out photos of the many happy faces who went home during the challenge.

Tuesday, September 4 – Sunday, September 30

WHS Milwaukee & Ozaukee Campuses

Local philanthropist Stan Kass will donate $50,000 to the Wisconsin Humane Society if we can find homes for 500 animals in the month of September! He also hopes to inspire the whole community to show just how much they care about homeless animals. Whether you’re able to adopt a homeless animal, or make a gift to WHS, we know that Southeastern Wisconsin can step up to the challenge and make a difference in the lives of countless animals in our community.

During September, we’ll be taking pictures with adopters to post to a special Facebook album and share with our online community. Help us reach our goal of 500 adoptions by sharing the news of this special challenge that will save the lives of so many animals!
