Injured dog found in Walmart parking lot

Will you help Boomer?

Little Boomer was found wandering alone in a Walmart parking lot - hungry, scared, and badly injured.  He needed immediate help.  Thankfully, Boomer was rescued from his dire predicament and brought to the Wisconsin Humane Society.

You can imagine our heartbreak when we discovered that Boomer’s femur was badly fractured.  We immediately gave him medicine for his pain and as soon as he was stabilized, we performed surgery to repair his fracture.  Boomer is now recovering comfortably in a foster home, where he is receiving nourishing food, slow walks and the love he needs to heal.

Our medical costs for Boomer will exceed $2,000 and we’re hoping you can help with a gift for the little munchkin.  We don’t receive government funding for this work, and WHS is not part of a national umbrella group. We depend on you to save animals like Boomer.

Please consider a gift today.  You can also make a contribution in honor or memory of someone special and send them an eCard to let them know. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every dollar makes a difference.

On behalf of Boomer, thank you. We’re so grateful to be a part of a community that steps up to support animals in need.
