Why the animal is being rehomed: I don't have the time to dedicate to Emma. My oldest is off to college and he was a big help.
What are your two favorite things about Emma? She loves to sit on my lap and loves to cuddle up with my boys. She can be a lot of fun, running around and playing.
How long have you had Emma? since she was a puppy, just over a year. (born in February)
Where did you get Emma? My mother in law bred her.
Has Emma ever bitten someone? Yes
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: She was protecting my younger boys when my dad was playing with them. She thought he was hurting them (they were playing) and she nipped him in the buttocks. No skin broke.
Has Emma lived with other animals? Yes
If yes to the above, which animals has Emma lived with? she lived with her mother and father until she was two months old, along with other puppies she was born with
Has Emma actively fought with other animals in the home? No
Does/did Emma hide from other animals in the home? No
How does Emma interact with animals outside of the home? she sniffs them and gets excited ... she will bark if she can't get to them
Are you requiring that Emma not go into a family with certain types of pets? No
Has Emma lived with any children under 18? Yes
Emma has lived with children of these ages: 18, 7, and 4 --- all boys, very active boys
Does/did Emma hide or avoid children in the home? No
Does/did Emma display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: once, Emma growled at my younger boy when she was chewing a bone, but that was months ago and hasn't happened since. She never shows aggression but when she is playful she will nip/scratch, and at times has scratch my boys. She can get very wild.
Are you requiring that Emma not go into a family with children under a certain age? No
If yes to the above, please list your restrictions: I think that is up to the family, but know that she can be wild - it can be fun at times - but if the child isn't old enough to know what is just playful fun ... maybe older children would be better.

How does Emma usually get exercise? Daily walks, Playing while tethered outside, Playing indoors,
What should the next family should know about Emma: Emma can hold her urine/poop for hours through the day. I kennel her. She will go outside and pee but sometimes you have to say "go potty" ... but I think when we don't give her enough attention, she will pee. She needs someone to dedicate some time to her. Take her on walks regularly and spend the appropriate
