Why the animal is being rehomed: Gandalf and one of our resident cats do not get along. At first, they seemed to tolerate each other but now, the resident cat bullies Gandalf and guards him into small spaces. Gandalf began using other places in the house as a result.
What are your two favorite things about Gandalf? What we love about Gandalf is how affectionate and talkative he is.
How long have you had Gandalf? Approximately 6 months.

Has Gandalf ever bitten someone? Yes
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: When agitated by the resident cat, Gandalf bites. He has not broken skin and this behavior only comes when we try to move him after he interacts with the resident cat.
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Gandalf have? Gandalf would do best in a single cat household, or one with a younger cat. Gandalf does not give many warning signs with his body language before he swats or lunges if irritated. He may benefit from a household with no young children.
Has Gandalf lived with other animals? Yes

If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: He swats and lunges at the older of our other two cats. He loves to play with the younger cat and seems to enjoy the company.

If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: Gandalf hides from our older cat when the older cat bullies him.
How does Gandalf interact with animals outside of the home? Gandalf has not had much interaction with other animals outside of our home.
