What should the next family should know about Rhea: Rhea has been a wonderful dog. She is extremely loving and affectionate. She is such an easy dog. Very low maintenance. Only needs to go outside a few times a day to go potty. Does not require lots of attention or play time. Content to just lay around. Loves to cuddle. However, she is very nervous. Needs to be in a home with older children who will not be intimidating to her. Is ok with other animals in the home, both cats and dogs. However, will get aggressive towards outside animals that approach her while on a leash. My husband and I have no experienced any acts of aggression in the 9 years we’ve owned her until our daughter recently became more mobile. We love Rhea and it is heartbreaking knowing we have to rehome her. We would love to see her go to a wonderful, loving home where she can enjoy her remaining years in peace. We could not fathom bringing her to a shelter. Would love to take this approach first and see if we can find Rhea a new forever home that will better suit her needs.
