Is Deebo spayed or neutered? yes

Why the animal is being rehomed: Discovered that household member is mildly allergic to dogs and a change in work schedules has also made it difficult to give Deebo the attention he needs.
What are your two favorite things about Deebo? He has an adorable underbite and he is very playful.
How long have you had Deebo? 10 months
Where did you get Deebo? Wisconsin Humane Society
Has Deebo ever bitten someone? No
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Deebo have? Deebo does have some behavioral issues - He's a jumper and he occasionally nips, he gets very excited and bossy but if he's reminded of his manners with the words he knows, he will stop. He seems to have anxiety (barking aggressively and pulling on leash) around smaller children that he does not know, particularly if they are running or on a bike, etc. during walks. However, he lives with a 4 and 7 year old and does not do that to them. He requires a lot of attention and if you are not giving it to him, he will find negative ways to get attention (find things to chew up, primarily, like kid's toys or pencils, for example). He is slightly territorial about his home and his family members, and will bark at sounds of people nearby the house, the mail carrier, etc.
Has Deebo lived with other animals? No
Has Deebo actively fought with other animals in the home? No
Does/did Deebo hide from other animals in the home? No
How does Deebo interact with animals outside of the home? Other animals seem to be no problem. Occasionally on walks he will bark at another dog, but not aggressively and not all dogs. He has attended doggie day care 2x/week and has not had issues with other dogs other than normal romping. He has stayed at family's homes that have another dog or cat and has done well with those pets.
Are you requiring that Deebo not go into a family with certain types of pets? No
Has Deebo lived with any children under 18? Yes
Deebo has lived with children of these ages: 4 and 7
Does/did Deebo hide or avoid children in the home? No
Does/did Deebo display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
Are you requiring that Deebo not go into a family with children under a certain age? Yes
If yes to the above, please list your restrictions: Deebo has always done well with the children in his home but when their friends come over or when we go on walks he appears to be uneasy about younger children that he doesn't know. For that reason, I would not recommend Deebo to be in a home with children under 10.
Does Deebo have any fears? Young children he does not know.
Deebo's overall activity level: Very active/high energy
How does Deebo usually get exercise? Daily walks, Playing while tethered outside, Playing indoors, Doggie daycare, Dog parks,
What should the next family should know about Deebo: Deebo is highly intelligent and is a great companion. He needs someone or a family who can give him the attention he needs and deserves. Many of his mannerisms are still puppy-ish (lots of energy) but give him some time and effort and he will correct these no problem. He also needs someone or a family who can train him a bit more to be the great dog we know he is and so he can live his best life. He is very cuddly at the end of the day and just wants to be loved and he will love you back unconditionally.
