Zoe

If you're looking for a beautiful, mature kitty who insists on living life on her own terms, Zoe may be the one for you!

Zoe is initially fearful in new surroundings. Once she settles in, she is content by herself just lazing around, looking out the window or watching birds on TV-but she also looks forward to human company. Zoe loves to come close and roll on her back for belly rubs and scritches-and as a thank you, she'll give adorable little licky kisses! Although not super active, she does love a good game of chase the laser pointer or feather wand!

It's important to know Zoe will need to be brushed regularly-her coat is soft and beautiful, but can get greasy and knot easily if she isn't brushed. While she doesn't seem to absolutely love it, she will let you brush her for a few minutes at a time before calmly walking away.

Zoe is a good eater, but does need to shed some weight (she's a bit of a chunk). A slimmer version of herself may prove to be a real go-getter! Zoe uses her litterbox like a champ, and she keeps the area around her box quite neat and tidy.

Zoe has met our resident cat through a gate and seemed to like him. She has not met our two resident dogs, but she hears them in the other room barking and carrying on, and it doesn't seem to bother her.

Zoe would like a quieter, patient home that will give her time to get acclimated and let her live her best life (on her own terms). To inquire, please e-mail mollysfosterpets@gmail.com.

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
