Dwight

Dwight is a fun-loving, dapper fellow with a perfect mustache! He is an energetic guy who will instantly melt with purrs and kisses in your arms. Dwight does have a limp in his right leg due to a surgical complication. Although he cannot jump and climb as high as he used to, he is not slowed down by this! He runs, chases, and tackles his littermates as if nothing had changed. This injury is considered to have permanent effects. If Dwight could speak, he would tell you this is not a big deal and he plans to live as normally as possible. We would encourage shorter cat trees for him to romp and play, so there is less risk of falling until his family knows just how normally he will be able to get around at higher levels. Dwight has been a perfect gentleman in his foster home with other cats, kids, and a small dog.

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
