Dennis

Meet Dennis, the lovable 8-year-old, 100lb mixed breed with a heart of gold! Don't let his gray hairs food you, Dennis is a playful, fun-loving dog who thrives on fetching tennis balls and destuffing toys - it's his special talent! He gets along great with other dogs in his foster home and enjoys their company. Dennis is also a well-behaved walker on a leash, and he knows a few cues like "sit" and "shake."

But the best part? Dennis is a snuggle bug who loves curling up in bed with his people for some cozy cuddle time. He's met small children and done well, though he sometimes forgets his size and might jump up on adults to show his excitement.

If you're looking for a gentle giant with a playful spirit and a lot of love to give, Dennis could be your perfect match! Reach out to Dennis' foster parent to learn more about him and meet Dennis today: kweishan@wihumane.org

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
