Last call for nominations for free kids program
Saukville, Wis. – The Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus is accepting applications until Thursday, April 25 for its People Animals Learning (PAL) program. Teachers, social workers and mentors (non-relatives) are encouraged to nominate underserved students between the ages of 10 and 13 who reside in the Port Washington and Saukville communities. This two-week summer program is FREE to participants and is a great opportunity to gain experience in responsibility, teamwork and caring for others by working with animals. The camp runs June 10- June 21 on Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Transportation is provided at no cost.
